What we do

Alyson Warranty offers two kinds of protection. An auto warranty, legally a vehicle service contract, pays for repairs to the car parts it lists after the factory warranty ends. A home warranty, legally a home service contract, pays to repair or replace the home systems and appliances it lists when they fail from normal wear. When you request a quote, our team contacts you with prices for the plans your car or home qualifies for and helps you choose. Each contract is backed and administered by an established provider, which handles claims under the contract's terms.

Neither product is insurance. Car insurance pays for damage after an accident, theft or weather, and homeowners insurance pays after fire, storms or theft; a service contract may pay for eligible repairs when the items it lists break down. We explain exactly what each plan includes and excludes, every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee, and there is never an obligation to buy.

How we create our guides

Our blog (0 articles) and our car repair cost guide are written by the Alyson Warranty team. We base factual claims on established sources, such as the Federal Trade Commission, repair-cost studies and recognized consumer organizations, and we link to those sources so you can check them.

Prices and plans change, so we review our content regularly and update it when they do. If you spot something that looks wrong or out of date, email us at quotes@alysonwarranty.com and we will check it.

How we are paid

Our quotes and guides are free to use. We earn money when you buy an auto warranty or home warranty plan through us. That never changes what our guides say about how these contracts work, and our Privacy Policy explains how your information is used and how to opt out of its sale or sharing.
